By 16 July 2027 each covered owner or operator must have completed a cybersecurity assessment and submitted a Cybersecurity Plan to the Coast Guard for approval, then repeat the assessment yearly. The plan covers access control, network segmentation, logging, supply chain, incident response and the cyber drills.
