Seawall Managed firewall and intrusion prevention
An always-on guard where your network meets the internet, inspecting every connection and stopping the bad ones before they reach you.
Seawall stands where your organisation meets the internet. Every connection coming in or going out passes through it, and it makes a fast, informed decision about each one: let it through, or stop it. Dangerous traffic never reaches your servers and laptops in the first place, which is far safer, and far cheaper, than cleaning up after it has already arrived.
It is not a wall with a list of rules taped to it. Seawall learns what healthy traffic looks like for you and notices when something is off: a connection to somewhere nobody should be talking to, a pattern that looks like someone mapping your defences, a download that does not belong. Every connection is also checked against a constantly-refreshed picture of who is dangerous on the internet, so a known attacker is recognised the moment they make contact.
You can divide the network into zones, so the machines that run your operation are not reachable from the desk where somebody opens email. Guest and crew Wi-Fi can be issued as time-limited access that never touches your business systems. And for the traffic that hides inside encryption, Seawall can be set to open it, inspect it and reseal it on the systems you choose, with the ones you exclude staying untouched.
All of this happens quietly and in real time. Your people keep working, legitimate traffic flows normally, and the threats are simply turned away, with every decision recorded, so you end up with a time-stamped account of what was blocked and why.
What Seawall does
Inspects every connection
Traffic in and out is examined as it happens, in line. Nothing is waved through unseen.
Stops known-bad on sight
Recognised attackers, malicious destinations and hostile scanners are blocked automatically.
Spots the unusual
Behaviour that does not fit your normal pattern is flagged before it becomes an incident.
Separates what should be separate
Network zones keep operational systems, office systems and guest access apart from one another.
- A hardened gateway between you and the internet, configured for how you actually work
- Blocking of known-hostile addresses, domains and scanning behaviour, updated continuously
- Network zones and guest access that keep visitors and crew off your business systems
- A time-stamped record of every block, with the reason, usable as audit evidence
Network and system security, traffic filtering, segmentation and secure-by-default connectivity.
And IMO maritime cyber resilience: IACS UR E26/E27
IACS UR E26 §4.2.1/4.2.2: security zones, network segmentation and network-protection safeguards for on-board systems.
