Muster Security awareness training and drills
The part of security that runs on people: trained, tested and recorded, on a schedule.
Every serious framework says the same thing: your staff are a control, and controls have to be maintained. NIS2 expects cyber-hygiene practices and security training, and expects management itself to be trained. The maritime rules expect drills.
Muster is where that is organised. Courses are assigned by role, completion is tracked per person, and the record is kept in the form an assessor wants to see it: who was trained, on what, when, and what they scored.
It goes beyond a course catalogue. Crisis exercises walk your leadership through a scenario before it happens for real, and the outcome, including what did not work, is written down. Phishing simulations are run as part of our assessment service rather than by the platform, and their results come back here: the click rate becomes a measured figure, and the people who need follow-up training are assigned it in the same place.
Retraining is scheduled, not remembered. Pick a cadence and Muster reminds, reassigns and records, so the answer to 'when was this last done?' is on a page rather than in somebody's memory.
What Muster does
Role-based courses
The right training for the job, assigned automatically as people join and change roles.
Phishing simulations
Run by our assessment team; the click rate comes back as a tracked figure and drives who gets retrained.
Crisis exercises
Walk leadership through an incident before one happens, and record what the exercise found.
Evidence by default
Completion, scores and dates kept in an exportable form for assessors.
- A training programme assigned by role, with completion tracked per person
- Phishing simulations run by our assessment team, with the results tracked here
- Facilitated crisis exercises and the written outcome of each
- A retraining schedule on the cadence you choose, with reminders and records
Cyber hygiene, security awareness training and the directive's training obligation on management bodies.
And IMO maritime cyber resilience: IACS UR E26/E27
IACS UR E26 §4.3 / ISM-aligned drills: crew familiarisation, drills and the evidence they were carried out.
