Safe Harbor Tamper-resistant backup and recovery

Tamper-resistant copies of your data kept apart from your live systems, so a bad day never becomes a lost business.

Runs on: Endpoints, gateway and our cloud vault Available in every plan

Ransomware does not only encrypt your files. It looks for your backups first, because a business with working backups does not pay. Safe Harbor is built around that fact.

Copies are written continuously and kept separately from the systems they protect: to local storage, to a cold spare kept out of the way, and to our vault. The copies cannot be quietly altered: a change to what has already been written is detectable, which is what turns a backup into evidence as well as insurance.

Recovery is the part most organisations discover too late. Safe Harbor is arranged around named recovery plans: what has to come back, in what order, and how quickly, so restoring is a rehearsed procedure with an owner rather than an improvisation at three in the morning.

The same machinery keeps your gateway's own configuration recoverable, so a failed appliance is a swap rather than a rebuild.

What Safe Harbor does

Copies kept apart

Local, offline and cloud copies, so one compromised system cannot reach all of them.

Tamper-evident

Written data cannot be silently rewritten; alteration is detectable after the fact.

Rehearsed recovery

Named plans define what comes back first and how fast, tested rather than assumed.

Covers the gateway too

Appliance configuration is recoverable, so replacing hardware is a swap, not a rebuild.

What you get
  • Continuous backup of endpoints and servers to separated storage
  • A cloud vault copy held away from your premises and your network
  • Recovery plans with owners, order and target times, and evidence they were tested
  • Gateway configuration backup so an appliance can be replaced quickly
On your plan, this is
