Deckhand Endpoint and server malware protection

A light-touch helper on every computer and server that keeps watch from the inside and reports its health home.

Runs on: Windows and Linux machines Available in every plan

The gateway protects the boundary. Deckhand protects what is behind it, because laptops leave the building, USB sticks arrive in pockets, and a threat that starts inside never crosses the boundary at all.

It is deliberately small. It installs in minutes, uses very little of the machine it runs on, and does not interrupt the person using it. From the inside it keeps a running inventory of the software installed, watches for files and behaviour that match known malware, controls which removable devices are allowed to be used, and can restrict which programs are permitted to reach the internet at all.

Everything it learns goes back to one place, so you can answer the questions that are otherwise a week of work: which machines are missing this update, which machine had that file, which laptop has not checked in since last month.

When something needs doing, it can be done from the console rather than by walking to the desk: quarantine a malicious file, block an address, stop a service, collect what an investigation needs, push an update. On machines old enough that most vendors have given up, there is a build that still works.

What Deckhand does

Installs in minutes

One command per machine, or rolled out with the tools you already use.

Finds malicious files

Files and behaviour are checked against a corpus of known malware fingerprints.

Controls removable media

Decide which USB devices may be used, and record every time one is connected.

Restricts what may call home

Programs that have no business reaching the internet can be stopped from doing so.

What you get
  • A managed agent on every server, desktop and laptop, reporting continuously
  • Malware detection on the endpoint, not only at the network boundary
  • Removable-media policy that is enforced rather than written down
  • Remote actions (quarantine a file, block an address, collect evidence, update) without touching the machine physically
On your plan, this is
Endpoint Agent €6.75 per endpoint / month · list price The base agent on each machine: live monitoring and remote actions. Every other endpoint product needs it.
Zero Trust AV €20.25 per endpoint / month · list price Default-deny execution control, behavioural threat detection and malware scanning on the machine.
Network Guard €8.80 per endpoint / month · list price Per-application control over which programs may reach the internet.
Removable Media Control €4.75 per endpoint / month · list price USB and removable-media policy, enforced on the machine and recorded.
Driver Control €4.05 per endpoint / month · list price Control over which drivers and kernel modules are allowed to load.
