Post-quantum cryptography: high-risk systems migrated
The roadmap's second milestone: high-risk use cases, meaning systems whose data must stay confidential for many years or whose integrity is critical, should be running post-quantum or hybrid cryptography by the end of 2030. Long-lived infrastructure such as substation gear, vessel systems and industrial controllers is the hard part because it is bought years ahead.
