NIS2: national laws had to be in place
NIS2 replaces the first NIS Directive. Member States had until 17 October 2024 to write it into national law, and the old directive was repealed the next day. Shipping companies, ports, energy, water, manufacturing of certain goods and many other sectors are in scope as essential or important entities. The obligations reach you through your national law, so the national text and its deadlines are what count.
