Electricity network code on cybersecurity in force
The first EU network code on cybersecurity for cross-border electricity flows has been in force since June 2024. It sets a process for identifying high-impact and critical-impact entities (system operators, large generators, storage, demand response and their suppliers), common minimum and advanced security controls, and incident reporting. The controls roll in over several years through ENTSO-E and EU DSO Entity deliverables.
