After two postponements, the deforestation-free products rules apply from 30 December 2026 for large and medium companies and from 30 June 2027 for micro and small ones. Cattle, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, soya, wood and products made from them (paper, packaging, furniture, tyres) need a due diligence statement before being placed on the EU market or exported.
